Ant Bait

This ant bait can be used to lure the ants into the trap created for them. To make one, you will need to have:

  • 6 tablespoons of Honey
  • 4 tablespoons of peanut butter
  • ¾ boric acid

Once you have all these ingredients with you, mix all of them together. Once you are done, you should place the mixture in small spoonfuls near the working ants. They will not only be attracted to it and eat the poison, but also take some for their queen. If the bait is successful, you will get rid of the ants in a couple of days.

Ant Spray

To make a homemade ant spray, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 2 Tablespoons of Soap flakes
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 2 liters of warm (not boiling) water
  • 1 tablespoon of hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of castile soap

Combine all of the ingredients together, make sure you shake it well before and after the mixing and pour it into a spray bottle. Before each use, shake the bottle and spray it on ants and outdoor areas where the ant infestation is increasing.

Powdered Repellant for Ants

2You may have seen a number of different powders available in the market categorized as ant repellants. Here is how you can make one at your home. To make one, you will need:

  • 1 cup of rock dust
  • 1 package of a dry sauce mix
  • ½ cup Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 Cup Organic Meal
  • ¼ cup mint flakes dried
  • 1 cup garlic powder

As soon as you have all of the ingredients by your side, put all of them together in a large plastic bag and mix them. Once the mixture has been properly mixed, sprinkle it all on the entry and exit points of the ants. Keep the powder away from your eyes though.

Ant Poison

To make ant poison, you will need ingredients such as:

  • A spoonful of boric acid
  • 1 can of cat food that is wet
  • ¼ Cup Jelly, preferably grape

When you have all the ingredients, simply mix all of them together and place spoonfuls of it near sites where the ants are working and where they are more regularly found. They will eat some and take some for the Queen ant. As soon as they eat it, within a couple of days, all of them will die.
