Pill bugs, also known as rollie-pollies, are actually considered to be crustaceans, not insects. In the same family as crabs, shrimp, and barnacles, they are the only species of the crustacean family that can survive on land.

Where do they live?

Although they can survive on land, they still must be near wet locations.

What do they eat?

Pill bugs really enjoy eating decomposing vegetation. You can find them eating fruits, vegetables, grasses, and weeds.
